£475 - £500 per day – 6 months rolling – London with some travel within the UK
A leading global professional services company based in London, urgently seek an experienced Project Manager with strong experience within the 3 core areas:
- Software delivery / lifecycle.
- Change Management.
- Senior Stakeholder Management.
The ideal candidate must have proven project management (ideally within an application technology led function), and have the ability to manage the implementation of allocated projects to agreed scope, timescales and within budget. You will have budget management experience and be someone who gets things done and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
As the Senior Project Manager – Software Delivery / Change Management:
- Any previous project management experience within delivering new platforms, software / applications on a large scale, Data Migrations, refresh programmes, system implementation and improvement project experience would be beneficial.
- Certified within PMP, Prince2 or similar project methodology.
- Ideally you will have experience of working in enterprise environments (or at least 2000 users).
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ideally qualified within Change Management (for example Prosci).
Key experience required for the Senior Project Manager – Software Delivery / Change Management position:
- Significant experience with a leading software system (investment management/property management/asset management/accounting etc…) deliveries, are required for this position.
- Experience of working with off-shore teams is a bonus.
- Managing multiple regional (UK) stakeholders and have the strength to be able to challenge them.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT management best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong technical aptitude and work experience with technical applications and systems.
- Additional experience required for the Senior Project Manager – Software Delivery / Change Management position:
- Strong experience in Project management within an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrable ability to co-ordinate a diverse set of resources and teams, ensuring focus upon a set of agreed business goals / objectives.
- Familiar with various tool sets useful to the management and reporting of projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer science, or equivalent relevant experience.
