A leading Hampshire (Basingstoke) based financial services company seek an experienced Senior Integration Engineer / Senior .Net Developer – Biztalk / Azure / Agile, to be responsible for building strategically important enterprise applications, within an Agile environment.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and development of software layers of our Digital platforms, to integrate and automate business processes between interdependent applications that run on different systems (B2B, BizTalk, ESB). A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products is essential.
Responsibilities for the Senior Integration Engineer / Senior .Net Developer – Biztalk / Azure / Agile, position:
- Deliver value-add type outcomes in all activities.
- Translate user stories into functional applications, using Agile practices.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, scalable and reliable code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Define and uphold best practice standards, quality measures and metrics.
- Identify and lead initiatives and innovations, through to completion.
- Define and lead implementation of automation techniques to measure and deliver quality, raising standards.
- Lead initiatives and outcomes to streamline delivery, through CI/CD pipelines.
- Act as role model for Agile behaviours and the adoption of Agile across teams.
Skills required for the Senior Integration Engineer / Senior .Net Developer – Biztalk / Azure / Agile, position:
- Technical leadership and outstanding communication skills.
- Experience and skills to integrate and automate business processes between interdependent applications that run on different systems (B2B, BizTalk, ESB)
- Expert in C# or VB.NET and web-based technologies. Strong knowledge of .NET framework.
- Expert with Enterprise scale relational database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong knowledge and experience of designing and implementing cloud based solutions (Azure).
- Direct contributions to technical deliverables on strategically important projects.
- Delivery of strategically important Digital projects.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and principles.
- Strong experience of automation techniques to measure and deliver quality, raising standards (Code Analysis, SonarQube, Resharper).
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns and principles.
- Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests (TDD/BDD).
- Experience of streamlining delivery, through CI/CD pipelines (TFS, Jenkins, Octopus, Dockers/ Containers).
- Proven ability to deliver future-proofed solutions, with a forward looking approach to adoption of improved industry practices.
Qualifications required for the Senior Integration Engineer / Senior .Net Developer – Biztalk / Azure / Agile, position:
- Experienced Agile practitioner, Scrum Master certified and with full understanding of the methodology - with a track record of delivering large scale projects using Scrum.
