Lead PMO Manager/Business Programme Support Manager – Worthing/Hybrid £550 per day outside IR35/12 Months initial assignment with scope to extend/2 days per week onsite in Durrington (may be some negotiation but don’t want candidates reluctant to attend site) Core information: Lead PMO/Project & Programme Support profiles with critical thinking who have experience of setting up a PMO, looking for someone to come in with an open and adaptable approach as well as want to get stuck in to the work rather than delegate tasks out, as above candidates need to be collaborative, good communicators who are resilient and able to speak with Stakeholders confidently at all levels. Core duties for the Lead PMO Manager/Business Programme Support Manager: To provide programme management and planning support to the Operational Asset Management/OAM Programme, Project and Change Managers and working with the Corporate Transformational Office, IT PMO, Finance for activities such as coordinating and communicating reporting. Core skills and experience required for the Lead PMO Manager/Business Programme Support Manager: PMO – maintaining Programme Controls Project Management Stakeholder engagement Report preparation, both regular and ad hoc Analysis of Programme performance Managing the continuous improvement of Programme Delivery including Lessons learned, improvement action plans. Programme Level Planning The Lead PMO Manager/Business Programme Support Manager role will support the maintenance of plans within OAM Delivery workstreams, tracking milestones, providing monthly health checks, maintaining, and managing risk, issues, dependency, and change logs, assisting with developing standards, processes and tools and providing guidance to Project and Programme Managers in the use of these processes and tools. Key responsibilities for the Lead PMO Manager/Business Programme Support Manager: 1. Act as the custodian of project information, ensuring that all project data is accurate and up-to-date. 2. Provide support to SMEs (eg, Design Leads), PMs and change Managers ensuring actions and status are maintained and up to date. 3. Act as a key interface between workstreams, central transformation office, IT PMO and Finance to ensure standards are applied and issues raised to enable effective progress and delivery. 4. Maintain the monthly and weekly reporting outputs from a single source of the truth data from portfolio. 5. Track and report risks, issues, resourcing, changes and dependencies across levels. 6. Facilitate and support progress of proposals and initiatives through approvals and close out. 7. Support and consolidate regular project, programme and portfolio reviews identifying trends in the quality of delivery. 8. Analyse post project reviews and lessons learnt, identify trends and areas of focus. 9. Coordinate workstreams meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation and minute-taking.
