Lead Consultant – Head of AI, Automation and Digital Transformation Location can be London, Leeds or Manchester, with frequent client visits – Approx £100,000 plus Car Allowance, 20% bonus and excellent benefits A leading IT consulting firm, seek and experienced and technically strong Lead Consultant within AI, Automation and Digital Transformation – you will be highly skilled and an expert Consulting Lead, who will spearhead their consulting vision and technical strategy. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team of consultants and developers, both onshore and offshore, to deliver innovative solutions that exceed client expectations and achieve business goals. Core elements: Technically strong within AI, Automation, Application Development – Digital Transformation. Consultative background, entrepreneurial. Experience within growth/business development ideally within the NHS/Public sector, direct or as a client – this role has a large (consultative) sales element to it. Excellent solutions and strategic focus, especially around end to end delivery. As the Lead Consultant – Head of AI, Automation and Digital Transformation, you will: Be a transformative leader with a passion for driving innovation in automation and digital transformation. Have proven experience in technical leadership roles, automation, digital transformation, or related roles within the Public Sector. Have significant experience of driving sales and growth, within a Consulting business. Consistent record of successfully delivering complex technical projects and programmes. Strong knowledge of automation technologies, digital transformation frameworks, and software development methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Have experience in technical leadership growth roles where you have met with the client to understand their pain points, and come up with solutions within automation, digital transformation and AI ideally within the Public Sector. What you’ll be doing as the Lead Consultant – Head of AI, Automation and Digital Transformation: Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for automation and digitalisation projects. Build and maintain a sales pipeline for these projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions. Supervise project delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, providing expertise during client meetings and as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
