Data Engineer – Insurance/SSIS/SQL 4 month rolling contract/£450 per day (Outside IR35) – Surrey or Hampshire, but can be fully remote This Data Engineer – Insurance/SSIS/SQL role is a hybrid position and can be based in either their Basingstoke (Hampshire) or Dorking (Surrey) offices with the expectation of being in the office once a month, but it can also be fully remote if required. A leading financial services company are recruiting for a Data Engineer to work on an Insurance Data Project, therefore any insurance sector experience would be beneficial. The core skills required for this Data Engineer position are SSIS and SQL, with you also having strong SQL Programming skills – so these should be part of your core skill set. This role is based around On-Prem data centres and you will be involved in Data Analysis and Data Queries. The Data Engineer role will involve being responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising data infrastructure for data collection, management, transformation, and access. You will be involved in creating pipelines that convert raw data into usable formats for data scientists and other data consumers to utilise.
