(IT) Data and Reporting Specialist – Worthing/Hybrid

Rate: 500.00 Per Day outside of IR35   Location: Worthing, West Sussex/Hybrid   

Data and Reporting Specialist – Worthing/Hybrid Must be prepared to occasionally visit the office in Worthing, West Sussex – £500 per day outside IR35 Start Date ASAP 6 months initial assignment with scope to extend, 2 days per week onsite in Durrington (may be some negotiation but don’t want candidates reluctant to attend site). We are looking for candidates who have the experience mentioned below – however you must be someone who is willing to get stuck in to the work and be pragmatic with their approach. Candidates need to be collaborative and flexible, good communicators who are resilient characters able to speak with Stakeholders confidently at all levels. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS required for the Data and Reporting Specialist: Essential: Proven experience in developing and implementing data improvements and managing data improvement projects. Proven experience in developing and implementing reporting and data analytical products. Knowledge and hands on experience of some or all reporting/Analytics platforms – Qlik sense, Power BI; Alteryx. Knowledge and hands on experience of data migration and ETL tool kits. Significant SQL hands on experience and knowledge. Excellent writer and editor, skilled at distilling large amounts of information and crafting messages for diverse audiences. Fluency in written and spoken English. A strategic thinker with the ability to consider wider organisational needs. Organized, with a focus on timelines and deliverables and the ability to drive things to conclusion. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment. Self-motivated, self-starter. Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, including an ability to deal with people at all levels with credibility, tact, and diplomacy. Proven experience working with and providing advice to chief executives and other senior leaders. Highly resilient, comfortable with change and able to manage ambiguity. Organisational savviness and business acumen. Knowledge of Maximo System a bonus. Desirable: Water industry Knowledge. Utility Knowledge. ROLE PURPOSE – Data and Reporting Specialist: The OAM (Operational Asset Management) Programme is a major transformation Programme, central to improving how the organisation operates, maintains, and manages its assets. In both its Water and Waste businesses to ensure continual improvement in the service to our customers and to increase our operational efficiency. The key responsibilities for the Data and Reporting Specialist: Manage the data improvements defined within the OAM Programme goals. Delivery the reporting and data analytical OAM Programme Goals. Where necessary take a hands-on role to deliver new reporting and Analytics products. Responsible for ensuring the development of reporting and data analytical products in line with Programme Goals. Responsible for the day-to-day management
