Change Manager – Cyber Security/Operational Technology background £600 per day (Outside IR35) – 6 months rolling – Worthing/Hybrid Core capabilities required: Proven experience delivering change management within large-scale technology or transformation programmes. Strong background in operational environments (eg, utilities, manufacturing, transport, or energy). Demonstrated understanding of Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), or SCADA environments. Knowledge of cyber security principles, NIS regulations, or comparable compliance frameworks. Ideally be SC Cleared already, or at least eligible for SC clearance. Role description for the Change Manager – Cyber Security/Operational Technology background: The Change Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering the change management strategy for a multi-year Operational Technology (OT) and Cyber Security Enhancement Programme. This role ensures that people, process, and organisational changes associated with new technologies, standards, and controls are adopted effectively and sustainably across engineering, operations, and IT/OT teams. The Change Manager will work closely with programme leadership, site operations, engineering, Digital and corporate functions to build awareness, capability, and engagement in support of regulatory (NIS) and cyber resilience outcomes. Key Responsibilities for the Change Manager – Cyber Security/Operational Technology background: Change Management Strategy: Develop and implement a structured change management framework aligned to programme objectives and NIS compliance requirements. Identify the stakeholders across operations, engineering, IT, and leadership functions and define engagement approaches for each group. Create change impact assessments, stakeholder maps, and readiness analyses. Engagement & Communication: Design and deliver a comprehensive communication plan to articulate the purpose, benefits, and impacts of the OT & Cyber Security Programme. Produce clear, targeted communications for different audiences – from engineers and site managers to executives. Manage stakeholder feedback loops and ensure two-way communication between programme and operational teams. Training & Capability Building: Work with SMEs and training teams to identify skill gaps and define learning and development needs. Support the rollout of awareness sessions, workshops, and competency programmes related to OT cyber security, new processes, and technologies. Business Readiness & Adoption: Define business readiness criteria and monitor adoption of new OT systems, standards, and controls. Support process owners and site leads in embedding new practices into daily operations. Ensure sustainability of change through reinforcement plans, coaching, and continuous improvement.
